It’s time to get your bible and your shotgun, anime hobbyists are under attack.

With the recent uproar among video game enthusiasts over the various “GamerGate” controversies and events, the just as varied social justice advocates have taken it upon themselves to trash the anime hobby simply because of the select few that use anime avatars on twitter.

I’m very curious about the cause of this hysteria; where even the mere hint, the gleam of an Azusa-chan avatar could send a grown person into a hateful tirade over a very small but vocal group of online nerds.

A far more professional attempt at coverage of anime as the sum of its parts rather than a homogenous and general summary. Despite their provocative domain name, their intent is clear and concise.
